Long Description

The new Waverly CL100 Clinical Centrifuge is the first of its kind: personal-sized clinical centrifuge. It’s a practical centrifuge great for use in medical and veterinary practices for centrifugation of blood and urine samples, in environmental analysis for the clarification of water and soil samples or in schools and other educational facilities. Perfect for labs with small sample volumes but also effective for large labs to have one at every workstation to maximize convenience and productivity. 

The Waverly CL100 comes with an angle rotor that can hold up to 8 x 15ml or 12 x 5ml/7ml/10ml vacuum tubes. Equipped with a maintenance-free brushless DC motor, it has a max speed of 4,500 rpm (2,490 x g) with fast acceleration and deceleration for efficient separation. The advanced micro-computer allows for complete control over both RPM or RCF, and time. The LCD panel displays real-time parameters with symbols showing the experimental process. It can run continuously, or be programmed from 30sec to 99min, or do short-spin by holding the button. The lid has an electrical lock with automatic release when the rotor stops to save processing time and prevent the samples from overheating.

Waverly rotors are manufactured from high quality military industrial grade aluminum alloy with high mechanical strength for precise running and safety.

• Fixed angle rotors have a max speed of 15,000 rpm
• Rotors are seated on a tapered shaft, concentric and self-aligning, perfect for achieving running stability at high speeds
• Bio-Safe rotors/anti-sample overflow prevents accidental leakage in centrifugal process allowing risk-free microbial contamination.
• D500 & D500R rotors have passed MCA test according to IEC/EN61010-2-20, including explosion proof and bio-safe tests
• High strength aluminum alloy rotors are fully autoclavable and provide unlimited service life.
• Powerful cooling design system minimizes rotor heating. Non-refrigerated units heat up < 10ºC after an hour of running at max speed

Fully autoclavable

High strength aluminum rotors are fully autoclavable, withstanding steam sterilization at 121ºC for 20 minutes.

Bio-Safe

Aspired to be the top-of-the-line model, D1536 and D1536R rotors are designed to prevent sample leakage. Each and every rotor is hermetically sealed by three rubber seals

Explosion-proof

Waverly centrifuges are checked under MCA conditions according to IEC / EN61010-2-20, causing disruption by partially cutting and overloading rotor assembly, and guarantees that no part shall be detachable to cause danger to person or the environment.
